Casa Namaste is privately nestled back in the dessert on almost 1.7 acres, and a short 15 minute walk to many pristine beaches along the Sea of Cortez.
Casa Namaste , is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom modernist home. Each bedroom has a queen size pillow top bed. The master bedroom has a full ensuite, the other two bedrooms share a full Jack & Jill ensuite bathroom. There is also a powder room off the living room and an outdoor bathroom off the pool area. The kitchen is very well stocked with herbs, spices and condiments for cooking. There is a full size gas range, large refrigerator, Nespresso machine(bring your capsules, original caps),stovetop espresso maker, a large French press coffee maker and tea pots. There is Washer & Dryer located in the double garage. The roof deck is massive (1600sqft) and a wonderful for watching the sun rise with your morning coffee and sipping margaritas while enjoying the desert mountain views as the sun sets. Casa Namaste has plenty of linens, towels, and beach towels for your use, along with the essential toiletries. We ask you be very mindful to our septic so please do not use scented products and only flush what "should" be flushed. The house has very good wifi.
The pool /outdoor living area is serene and very private. Amenities include BBQ outdoor shower , and a wood burning fire pit, perfect for start gazing and taking in the endless desert skies.
The house is “off grid” , relying on solar energy (with an emergency generator). For this reason, we ask you to please be mindful of power consumption and refrain from using energy sucking devices such as hair dryers. The house does not have air conditioning , but ceiling fans in every room, stand up fans and a pool to cool off in!
Casa Namaste has a very large cistern locate to hold the water that is trucked in and used for showering, toilets, cooking and doing dishes. We provide guests with at least one 5-gallon jug of fresh drinking water and leave empty jugs in the panty which you can have filled in town at a very reasonable rate (About $2).

Zacatitos has a lovely local farmers market every Wednesday (seasonally) where you can but great quality organic produce, incredible salsa, fresh fish, chicken, sausages from a local farmer. The bakery from San Jose often attends the market as well as many Zacatitos residents selling their home made food and crafts. You will be sure to come across "wild" burros (they are used to being fed by locals), Hares, foxes, lizards, numerous birds… and other desert creatures.
Zac's Bar and Grill is the local restaurant within walking distance to Casa Namaste. Buzzards is a 10 minute drive away , and Flora Farms about 20 minutes -both are well worth the visit!
There are grocery stores and many restaurants in San Jose. Costco is closer to Cabo (45 min from Casa Namaste). We like to stock up on food & drink then hunker down to enjoy the peace, privacy and quiet of living off grid, abiding in the beauty of the desert, sea and mountains.
